London Ashridge Circle

The London Ashridge Circle is a cultural and social activities club. The aim of the club is to provide a variety of cultural, educational and social events for its members to enjoy and to provide a means of meeting people.

The Circle is run by its members, who suggest ideas for events to a committee which then puts together a programme of events and talks. Members volunteer to act as leaders/hosts for these events and places may then be pre-booked by other Members with the relevant leader/host. Membership is based in London and the Home Counties and the majority of events are held in and around London.

The London Ashridge Circle was founded in 1949 and last year we celebrated our 60th Anniversary. The Circle derives its name and inspiration from Ashridge Hall, the former College of Citizenship situated in Ashridge Park, near Berkhampsted, Herts. A separate Ashridge Circle has also been founded in Eastbourne.

The London Ashridge Circle is an entirely-independent society. It has no political affiliations and all shades of opinion are welcome.
